Information for Physicians

BetterQOL.com is the "brainchild" of Dr. Brian D. Loftus, a neurologist currently in private practice in Houston, Texas. It is designed to improve the quality of life of its physician user base.

It improves physician quality of life by collating the patient’s quality of life scales over time and correlating this data with patient therapy. A physician will have medication summaries, review of systems, historical analysis and timelines before the patient ever enters the exam room. This allows the patient more time to discuss what is most important to them and increases appointment efficiency.

The portal can also identify comorbid disease states and take short histories between office visits and supplies this information directly to the patient’s physician.

Physicians who utilize BetterQOL.com will be able to gather data on their practice as a whole and compare it, by individual disease, to other peer physicians. For those that fall below the average, they will be able to look at their practice patterns and see how they differ from higher performing physicians.
