BetterQOL, Inc. is developing a series of HIPPA compliant web-enabled tools for patients to use to aid their physicians in treating their headaches. A portion of all of our revenue goes to medical research.
iHeadache
iHeadache, an app for the iPhone, iPod touch and BlackBerry, captures real time information on headaches. Real time information about your headache aids you and your physician in making an accurate diagnosis. Studies have demonstrated that the misdiagnosis of the type of headache results in the patient not being prescribed the most effective medication.
iHeadache Web
iHeadache Web compliments iHeadache™ and is currently under development. iHeadache Web will bring additional web-enabled features not available with an iPhone/iPod touch app. Features included with iHeadache Web include tracking medications for prevention of your headaches (instead of just acute treatment) along with analysis of your headache data before and after changing medications. This tool enables a more rigourous analysis of the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of your headache preventative medications. iHeadache Web will also include "headache trigger" tracking. iHeadache Web will be fully compatibe with the iHeadache app for iPhone and iPod touch. Users will be able to log in and download reports and setup preferences. Version 2.0 of the iHeadache app for iPhone and iPod touch will be released with the launch of iHeadache Web.
iHeadache History
iHeadache History is a web enabled application that is slated for development in 2011. Unfortunately a substantial number of patients see their physicians but leave with an improper headache diagnosis. Taking a full headache history takes a significant amount of time. We believe that a comprehensive history obtained by a web portal can aide the physician in generating a thorough diagnosis. Physicians will also have the option to receive treatment recommendations. We are currently looking for funding and industry sponsors.
